Aligners
Over the years metal braces have been the treatment of choice when dealing with malocclusions. Now with the advancing research and efforts in the field of orthodontics, aligners have come into play. Aligners are computer designed and shows the patient the end results beforehand.
Aligners are a sequence of transparent and removable trays that fits according to the teeth and applies controlled forces to align and straighten them. The patient must wear the aligners for 22 hours a day for 14 days each in sequential order given by the dentist. With aligners we can treat mild to moderate malocclusions like crowding, spacing, and anterior crossbite.

What to expect:
At the first visit, we do complete extraoral and intraoral examination, take study models and clinical pictures to study the case. Then we take 3D impressions/scans and ask the patient to provide a full mouth OPG that is then provided tothe CLEARPATH team to design a treatment plan according to the patient’s need. The 3D setup is shared with the treating doctor that is fully discussed and shown to the patient beforehand. When the patient agrees with the treatment plan, the aligners are fabricated and given to the patient, and treatment is progressed under the dentist’s supervision.
